In 2018 the State Library of Victoria was bequethed the contents of an inner city storage vault that was crammed with possessions that once belonged to artist Vali Myers. I had seen this archive before when Vali had welcomed me into her life, and her studio, on the 7th floor of the Nicholas Building on Swanston St Melbourne in 2002. Over the next six months our lives became entwined. Dream within a Dream is the culmination of many years of research and my homage to an extraordinary visionary artist and a relationship that changed the course of my life!
